About CharterUP

We help promote environmentally friendly group transportation by connecting passengers and bus operators and creating an awesome online charter bus booking experience. We are taking on a large ($15B annually in the US and Canada) and antiquated industry, where bookings still mostly take place offline, with the goal of becoming the leading online charter bus platform in the world.

We are experiencing a period of hyper-growth as the charter bus industry has fully recovered from the impact of the pandemic. We are headquartered in Atlanta, GA, but operate a fully remote work environment. 

About This Role

We are looking for a highly-intelligent, ambitious Associate Product Manager with a strong interest in the mobility industry and a passion for creating wonderful user experiences. This person will play a key role in leading the product vision for one of our recently launched products. This role will require working with a cross-functional team and will have significant exposure to the company's leadership team. 

What You'll Do

  • Support one of CharterUP's main products
  • Ensure flawless customer experience and product quality 
  • Work closely with Devs and QA to ensure timely development  
  • Support Product's efforts to conceptualize and develop features through a data-driven approach
  • Identify customer needs and gather feedback through frequent user research and testing
  • Synthesize user research, analysis, and stakeholder feedback into detailed product requirements
  • Advance product roadmap and measurable KPIs
  • Understand business needs and strategy

What You'll Need

  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive into the details within a team environment
  • Experience working with software across mobile and web
  • 2+ years of building and scaling digital products and / or services
  • Track record of identifying customer needs and incorporating them into great products
  • Entrepreneurial drive, demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to prioritize roadmap features and fully scope features for a product
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with technical and non-technical teams
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Understanding of the full-stack development process
  • Experience with UI/UX focused design standards
  • Experience in the transportation industry, with e-booking or ticketing systems, B2B SaaS, or mobile products is a plus
  • Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, Sketch, and InVision or similar tools and platforms
    Working knowledge of SQL Databases
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or STEM degree from a top-ranked institution
