About This Role

We are looking for a highly-intelligent, ambitious Product Manager with a strong interest in the mobility industry and a passion for creating wonderful user experiences. This person will play a key role in leading the product vision for one of our recently launched products. This role will require working with a cross-functional team and will have significant exposure to the company's leadership team. The Product Manager will be responsible for conducting market research and talking to our users to ultimately design the best product on the market. This role will require someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and do a lot of the leg work, but have enough experience and confidence to truly lead the vision and own the entire product.

What You'll Do

  • Lead one of CharterUP's main products 
  • Own product concept and development through a data-driven approach
  • Facilitate ideation, development and delivery of new features
  • Identify customer needs and gather feedback through frequent user research and testing
  • Synthesize user research, analysis, and stakeholder feedback into detailed product requirements
  • Set up the product roadmap and measurable KPIs
  • Design and collaborate with designers to create and validate solutions to meet customer needs
  • Lead development team to deliver an efficient and healthy product release cadence
  • Work closely with company stakeholders, including VP of Product, CTO, and CEO
  • Understand business needs and strategy and incorporate into product roadmap
  • Contribute to user onboarding strategy and experience 

What You'll Need

  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive into the details within a team environment
  • Experience working with software across mobile and web
  • Ideally 4-5 years of building and scaling digital products and / or services
  • Track record of identifying customer needs and incorporating them into great products
  • Entrepreneurial drive, demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to prioritize roadmap features and fully scope features for a product
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with technical and non-technical teams
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Understanding of the full-stack development process
  • Experience with UI/UX focused design standards
  • Experience in the transportation industry, with e-booking or ticketing systems, B2B SaaS, or mobile products is a plus
  • Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, Sketch, and InVision or similar tools and platforms
  • Working knowledge of SQL Databases
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or STEM degree from a top-ranked institution

Location / Remote Work Policy

CharterUP employees have the option to work remotely (even in "post-COVID" timeframe) full-time or in a hybrid model out of one our physical offices in New York, San Francisco, Atlanta, or Austin.
